Critical Care Nurse Writes Novels with Cynthia Stock

Episode Summary

My guest today retired after forty-three-years at the bedside in Critical Care Nursing. She earned a Master’s degree in Nursing from UT Austin. The Final Harvest of Judah Woodbine was published in 2014 when she was 62. Her current work in progress is a novel of autofiction, Clocked Out: A Nurse’s Life After Hours. She enjoys being a seventy-year-old who drinks wine, contemplates the narratives in Joni Mitchell and Prince lyrics, and writes fiction gleaned from fragments of an ordinary life. Welcome to Authors Over 50, Cynthia Stock.
