After earning bachelor's and master's degrees, my guest spent 29 years in classrooms, first teaching 7th grade Language Arts & Social Studies, followed by 22 years of high school English and Psychology. Upon retirement, she joined a writing workshop, where a good instructor taught her that the slash and burn of editing don’t leave scars. She wrote three books in quick succession.
