Born in The Land of Enchantment, my guest today is a novelist whose work has appeared in Family Circle Magazine, Military Times, and several anthologies. A 2021 WILLA Literary Award Finalist in contemporary fiction for her novel, The Flying Cutterbucks, she has been writing professionally for more than forty-five years. Her debut novel, The Final Salute, was a 16-year effort released on her 50th birthday. It was featured in USA Today, The Associated Press, and Military Times. She’s a two-time finalist for the Military Writers Society of America Writer of the Year Award and recently talked about "Not Giving Up" at their national conference in New Orleans.
